"If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.  My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be My disciples."  
John 15:7-8

 
            The centerpiece of true Christianity is our personal relationship with God.  In order to discover His will for our lives, we need to walk daily with Him.  As we spend time with Him, we begin to love Him more.  As we love Him more, we learn to trust Him and so we submit to His rule for our lives and depend on Him to meet our needs.   As we cultivate our friendship with Him by spending more and more time with Him, we realize more and more that we are very sinful and He is very Holy.  Our ways are not His ways!   Because we have been forgiven by Him, we also must realize that we need to faithfully forgive others.

     As we follow this pattern of developing our intimacy with Christ, we discover His will for every aspect of our lives.  When we abide in Him, and allow His Word to abide in us, our will becomes attuned with His will by listening to Him.  When we understand His will, then we can pray according to His will, and our prayers are answered and fruit that remains is produced in our lives, and so we prove to be His disciples.  By this is our Father glorified!  This is the heart of a true discipleship.

     Now is the time to evaluate where you are in your walk with God.  How is your relationship with Him?  Is it deepening?  How well do you study His Word and allow His Word to abide in you by reading and meditating, even memorizing the scriptures?  Are your desires the same as His?  Are you first seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness for your life and the world above all else?  Do you pray according to His will?  Are you seeing answers to your prayers?  Is God being glorified by your life?

     This site is designed to help you cultivate your friendship with God and in so doing, enable you to discern God's will for your life, thus allowing you to pray according to His will for your life.  When you pray according to His will, then you produce much fruit in your life and so glorify God.  By this we are Moving Forward on our Knees, reaching the world for Christ!
